Hearing this information posted about Kelly is refreshing. To someone who actually watches the games, it is obvious that Kelly hits much better when he is not leading off. I am glad to see you post the stats to back up that point. And defensively, Kelly is better than he gets credit for. I know he had the horrible error a couple weeks ago that cost a game when he didn't get a double play started, but he has done well in the field this year.

I hate to hear it about Francouer, but you are right. This is one of those situations where visually he is struggling, and statistically he is struggling, but I continue to hope that he can pick it up. When the rest of the lineup is hitting, it's bearable, but when others are slumping, it's hard to watch.

I did like this segment.

I'm probably going to do Kawakami & Moylan for the pitchers. Though I have no idea why people are saying anything bad about KK...kind of mind boggling to me.

Thanks for the Gonzo/Soriano idea...I don't want to jump the gun on that right away, though. They're both pitching real well, and I want to see how things shake out a little more.

I know your doing pitchers soon but I wanted to know if your considering Kawakami? I think his low run support doesn't accurately depict his value. Will he be part of the analysis?

Also a analysis of gonzo and soriano would be nice and maybe a precursor to off season decisions this year.

Obviously, it's up to you but throwing some ideas out there.

Good post.
