The reports I read said NO ONE was willing to take Lowe without the Braves paying 1/2 his salary, and no team except the Yankees was willing to add a $10 mil+ starter through trade. Add the fact that Vasquez is a one year rental and it's obvious Wren wasn't in the position to "demand" anything! A pitcher having ONE Cy Young caliber season, (out of 12), does not make him CY YOUNG!
